'the hERD' by rory kinnear
We absolutely love this fantastic ensemble piece by Rory Kinnear. Heartfelt, witty, and an emotional rollercoaster of an evening inspired by Rory's personal family experiences. A gift for actors and audience alike. Come and join us at Andy's 21st!
the hERD
It's Andy Griffith's twenty-first birthday. Not that he's counting. But his mother Carol is. Counting the minutes until he arrives, counting the unexpected guests, counting the times that something like this has happened before.
Rory Kinnear's witty and heartfelt play looks at a family falling apart - and pulling together - when life doesn't turn out quite the way they imagined. As an actor, Rory Kinnear has played Hamlet and Iago at the National Theatre, Angelo in Measure for Measure at the Almeida, and Bolingbroke in Richard II for the BBC, but is perhaps more widely known for his role as Bill Tanner in the latest Bond films. 'The Herd' is his first play. |
