mia oudeh
After a brilliant time with Threepenny for their debut production Elephants, Mia is delighted to be returning to the company as Joanna Trout for Dear Brutus. Whilst working full time in healthcare, Mia has been determined to keep up her performance life too (at the cost of her own sanity!) She has been far too privileged to have played a number of roles in the past including Mary Magdalene (Jesus Christ Superstar), Lizzy (Elephants), Wendla Bergman (Spring Awakening), Helen Niles (Merrily We Roll Along), Sister Mary Robert (Sister Act), Mimi Marquez (RENT), Cinderella (Cinderella), Bonnie (Bonnie & Clyde), Shayna (Hairspray), Aida (Aida), Thea (Spring Awakening) and Isabel (Pirates of Penzance).
Mia has also been lucky enough to work professionally in the industry, having worked with Tony award winning Broadway Producer Christopher Hart in Our Time Theatre's debut production Merrily We Roll Along. She also has performed as Leigh-Anne Pinnock in Little Mix Magic and currently works as a performer in The Vintage Girls. Mia also performs her own solo gigs, alongside working as a piano and singing teacher. She enjoys creative and reflective writing, having had her own work published in newspapers and academic pieces in scientific journals. Mia's 'slight' workaholic trait makes her very much excited to working on Dear Brutus with the 3-T team where she hopes to continue to learn and grow as an actor. This piece of mysticism and fantasy will hopefully transport audiences away from the boxed up norms of reality and may remind those of us, who may have forgotten, the endless power of imagination. - Biography taken from the programme for Dear Brutus (2019) |
