Judith has been treading the boards since she was a child and has acquired a wealth of Musical Theatre and Acting experience. She has performed in a range of musicals as a dancer; a singer and an actor in chorus parts and lead roles. The Hollow will be her second straight play after her debut as Shelby Eatenton in Steel Magnolias two years ago with Blackout Productions. As an experienced soprano singer Judith has also enjoyed performing in several Gilbert and Sullivan musicals including Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers and Ruddygore.
Her most recent musical this year was The Wedding Singer which she performed at the Kings Theatre with The Bohemians Lyric Opera Company. She had a real blast performing in her cameo role as crazy bride Donatella. She felt the role presented its challenges, but she definitely managed to master her right hook by the end of the run! (Only those who know “The Wedding Singer” will get this reference 😊!)
Judith by day is a high school Drama teacher at a local Edinburgh school. This keeps her on her toes and she enjoys inspiring her young people to maintain their interest in theatre frequently telling them stories about how much fun she has!
As a newcomer to the company this year, Judith is incredibly excited to take on her role as Veronica Craye and cannot wait to work with the talented cast of Threepenny Theatricals.
