lord arthur savile's crime
We're delighted to bring this explosively funny Oscar Wilde story to the stage in 2025
lord arthur savile's crime
An ever-so-slightly black comedy from the short story by Oscar Wilde.
When Lord Arthur is told by a popular society palm-reader that he is destined to commit murder, he determines to get it over with as quickly as possible so that his beloved fiancee Sybil will never have reason to be ashamed of him once they are married. The only questions that remain are - who is to be the victim, and how to go about it? This brilliantly funny Oscar Wilde story has been brilliantly adapted for the stage by Constance Cox and has a wealth of Wildean wit and fabulously funny characters. It's definitely one you don't want to miss. |
